Dear reader,

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Safe Cycling had a significant presence at the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes 2023, contributing to a safer and more secure racecourse for all participants.

From July 1 through July 23, the Tour de France returned with a spectacular 3,404-kilometer route, commencing in Spain and culminating in the magnificent city of Paris, France. As part of our commitment to promoting safety in cycling events, Safe Cycling was honoured to provide 20 Safety Systems, ensuring that every cyclist experienced a well-protected and secure journey throughout the races.

The defending champion, Jonas Vingegaard, emerged victorious for a second consecutive year, showcasing incredible determination and skill. Jonas outperformed his toughest rival, Tadej Pogačar, by an impressive 7 minutes and 29 seconds.

In the Tour de France Femmes 2023, the race was won by Demi Vollering of SD Worx, beating her rival Annemiek van Vleuten (Movistar Team) with a dominant stage win on the Col du Tourmalet. Second place went to Vollering’s teammate Lotte Kopecky, who wore the yellow jersey for six stages after winning the first stage. Congratulations to Demi Vollering, Lotte Kopecky, and all the inspiring athletes who participated in the Tour de France Femmes 2023.

We applaud both cyclists for their exceptional sportsmanship and congratulate all the riders who participated in the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes 2023.

During the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes 2023, our state-of-the-art Safety Systems played a crucial role in providing clear and effective safety warnings to all participants. Our tall LED screens delivered clear visual warnings, ensuring that riders never missed important safety messages. Equipped with attention-grabbing symbols and customizable displays, these signs kept participants informed and aware of potential hazards. To further enhance the event experience, our commercial surfaces showcased sponsors and race logos, maximising brand exposure and fostering valuable partnerships.
