ORGANISERS
Conducting weekly meetings with race organizers to receive their feedback and incorporate their knowledge into our safety measures. This continuous dialogue helps to align our safety strategies with the specific needs of each event.
SAFE CYCLING
Applying our vast experience gained from over 1000 days of racing to enhance road safety. Our expertise in cycling safety is instrumental in developing effective prevention and response strategies.

OCTOBER 2024
About Simac Ladies Tour
The Simac Ladies Tour was founded in 1998, driven by Wim van Duivenbode and Leo van der Wal. Their goal was to establish a full-fledged race in the Netherlands, complementing existing one-day races, especially with the World Championships approaching in Valkenburg.
The first stage took place on September 15, 1998—a 4.6 km prologue in Ter Aar. Leontien Zijlaard-Van Moorsel won the stage, though Elsbeth Vink claimed the overall victory. Notable Dutch winners include Marianne Vos, Ellen van Dijk, and Annemiek van Vleuten, while international stars like Kristin Armstrong and Lisa Brennauer have also excelled here.
The race features a mix of sprints, selective stages, and a time trial, often serving as preparation for the World Championships. Ina-Yoko Teutenberg holds the record with fourteen stage wins. Today, the Simac Ladies Tour is the only Women’s WorldTour stage race in the Benelux, attracting the world’s top teams and riders.
