At nearly 300 kilometers, Milano–Sanremo 2025 once again delivered the longest and one of the most iconic one-day races in cycling. Known as La Classicissima, this monument combines endurance, strategy, and a dramatic finale on the Ligurian coast.
Safe Cycling was proud to be part of this legendary event, helping make key areas of the course more safe for the riders. From busy city streets to coastal roads, the scale of this race brings unique logistical and safety challenges—but also the reward of supporting one of cycling’s most spectacular days.
The Cipressa and Poggio lived up to their reputations, and as always, the final descent and dash to Via Roma demanded full focus from riders—and from us behind the scenes.
